He was taking part as the chief guest at a function to distribute sewing machines to beneficiaries on Sunday.

The sewing machines reduce the drudgery of the tailors, he said adding that 215 tailors receive the Zuki machines acquired at a cost of Rs 47,70,850.

Earlier, 135 tailors received these machines and now 215 are going to receive them. As the tailors’ association is demanding more machines for tailors, he said that the machines would be given some more tailors too.

He appealed to the people to vote for the party that developed the State. The State witnessed rapid development under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Telangana is ahead of other States in the implementation of welfare and development schemes, he said.
