Minister for Irrigation Ambati Rambabu has directed the officials to complete all the pending projects expeditiously and ensure that all receive the benefits of welfare schemes.
The Minister reviewed with the officials the development works being carried out by the Panchayat Raj, RWS, district water management authority, district rural development authority, housing department and the R&B departments.
Addressing a meeting in the ZP meeting hall here on Sunday, Minister Ambati Rambabu said that it is aimed to carry out development works in all 175 constituencies. He said that the government is holding the Jagananna Surakha programmes prestigiously across the state and asked those who are not getting welfare scheme benefits.
Minister for Agriculture Kakani Govardhan Reddy said that needed instructions were given to the officials concerned during the meeting to complete the pending projects at the earliest and progress of the projects was also reviewed. He instructed the officials to complete the housing construction in Jagananna colonies.
The Nadu-Nedu works and irrigation canal works should be completed on war footing, he told the officials, Collector M Harinarayanan also spoke. Joint Collector Kurmanath, DFO Chandrasekhar Rao, ZP CEO Chiranjeevi and a host of officials were present.
