Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader and former minister Prathipati Pulla Rao has alleged that Health Minister Vidadala Rajini has indulged in massive corruption and she amassed huge wealth through corrupt means.
Talking to the media in Chilakaluripet on Thursday. Pulla Rao regretted that the government hospitals in the state are in a pathetic state without facilities but the Health minister has focused on amassing wealth ignoring the bad state of government hospitals.
“During the last four years, the health department has been ruined. Corruption takes place in the transfers of medical staff. The vacant posts in hospitals have not been filled,” Pulla Rao flayed lamenting that tere are no life saving medicines in many government hospitals in the state .
Alleging that Minister Vidadala Rajini is indulging in land settlements, he slammed that the Chilakaluripet municipality has become a centre for corruption. All outsourced employees working in the Chilakaluripet municipal office are the relatives of Vidadala Rajini, he lashed out, adding that Rs 50 lakh worth corruption took place in issuing death and birth certificates.
The TDP leader alleged that Rs 2.70 crore was paid to the contractors before after they completed the works. The corruption acts of Rajini made the Chilakaluripet municipality to incur huge loss, he claimed, stating that infrastructure is being developed by Chilakaluripet municipality with its own funds to private ventures developed by realtors.
