Minister for Medical and Health Vidadala Rajani has revealed that classes will start in the Government Medical College to be set up in Vizianagaram from the academic year 2023-24. She said that the construction work of Vizianagaram College is going on briskly. The minister said that the construction of the temporary buildings is being carried out with an estimated cost of Rs 35 crores and will be completed by the end of March.
The Minister of Health, Deputy Assembly Speaker Kolagatla Veerabhadra Swamy, Zilla Parishad Chairman Majji Srinivasa Rao and MLA B Appala Narasaiah, Medical Health Principal Secretary MT Krishna Babu, AP MSIDC MD Muralidhar Reddy inspected the construction work of the Government Medical College under construction at Gajularega on Monday.
Officials of Medical, Health, and representatives of NCC Construction Company briefed the Minister on the progress of the construction work.
PS Krishna Babu said that the construction of Government Medical colleges at Machilipatnam and Vizianagaram is progressing well.
