Minister Som Prakash reviews progress of industrial corridors

Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Som Prakesh held a crucial review meeting here on Monday with National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) MD Rajat Kumar Saini and VC & MD APIIC Pravin Kumar, among other officials, to discuss the progress of industrial corridor projects in Andhra Pradesh.
During the meeting, Minister Som Prakesh directed Pravin Kumar to forge a close collaboration with NICDC, aiming to expedite critical processes crucial to the advancement of key industrial corridors in the State. These corridors encompass the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC) Krishnapatnam Node, Hyderabad- Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (HBIC) Orvakal Node, and Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC) Kopparthy, Nakapalli, and Chittor Nodes.
The minister placed significant emphasis on expediting the processes of land acquisition, infrastructure development, and environmental clearances. The identified industrial corridors are integral to the economic development of Andhra Pradesh, and the minister stressed the importance of swift and efficient execution to ensure their timely completion.
The meeting marks a crucial step towards accelerating the progress of industrial corridors in Andhra Pradesh.
With combined efforts from NICDC and APIIC, operating under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the potential for unlocking immense economic opportunities for the State becomes increasingly evident.
