Pathancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy has said that the credit for developing the government educational institutions on a par with corporate schools goes to the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
The MLA on Saturday inaugurated 14 additional classrooms in ZP High Schools and a canteen built at a cost of Rs 3.20 crore with the support of the Gland Pharma Industry. The industry provided the complete furniture needed by the ZP High School.
To his request, Corporate Social Responsibility head of Gland Pharma Raghuraman responded immediately and aided for building 14 additional classrooms. He said the Mana Ooru-Mana Badi programme went a long way in providing facilities in schools.
He said that Patancheru town has been groomed into an education hub. He said that the Mytri Grounds here has been modernised with Rs 7 crore funds. Pathancheru corporator Mettu Kumar Yadav, agriculture market committee chairman Vijay Kumar, district educational officer Rajeshwar Rao, Gland Pharma CSR head Raghur aman, mandal educational officer Rathod, senior leaders Gudem Madhusudhan Reddy, BRS functionaries, teachers, prominent persons of the town and others were present.
