On the death anniversary of former Chief Minister Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar has suggested that the Rural Ring Road (RRR) be named after Burgula Ramakrishna Rao.
He was paying tributes to Burgula Ramakrishna Rao to mark his death anniversary. He praised the legacy of Burgula Ramakrishna Rao who was Hyderabad State first chief minister.
Burgula Ramakrishna Rao was recognised for his significant role in Hyderabad’s political history, including his decision to step down as Chief Minister during the 1956 formation of Andhra Pradesh. He later served as Governor of Kerala and Uttar Pradesh.
The event drew participation from local leaders, including High Court lawyer Sannidhanam Krishnasharma, former MPTC Ashok Goud, and Congress leaders, who praised Burgula’s contributions. Shankar reiterated his commitment to push for the road to be named in Burgula’s honor, celebrating his impact on Telangana and India.
