MLA Vishnu complains to CEO about TDP phone calls to pensioners

Planning Board Vice-Chairman and Central MLA Malladi Vishnu, on Tuesday, complained to State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Mukesh Kumar Meena against the Telugu Desam Party, which is not only disrupting the pension distribution system but also spreading false information to the people of the State through phone calls. He strongly condemned sending voice messages to lakhs of people without any permission, in the wake of the model code of conduct. He asked the CEO to immediately take action against the ‘false propaganda’ of TDP.
Later, Malladi Vishnu spoke to the media persons and alleged that 66 lakh social security pensioners across the State are suffering due to Chandrababu’s conspiracies. Moreover, TDP is sending false bulk messages shamelessly. He said that everyone knows that the financial year ends on March 31, so pensions will be distributed two days late and last year also pensions were provided on April 3. But the Telugu Desam is hell-bent on propagating Goebbels’ campaign.
Vishnu said that Chandrababu cannot bear to see the popularity of the Chief Minister’s Memantha Siddham bus yatra and is spewing venom on Chief Minister through the ‘ITDP’ website. Vishnu said that he has asked the Election Commission to take strict action against the false posts that are being made to insult CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Vishnu added that Chandrababu does not dare to tell the people what he did while in power, so he is throwing mud at the ruling party. Even till December 2018, Chandrababu gave a pension of only Rs 1,000 to beneficiaries. It is shameful for Telugu Desam leaders to talk about welfare programmes. Ironically, all those who criticised Andhra Pradesh is becoming another Sri Lanka till yesterday are boasting that they will provide double welfare. On the other hand, Malladi Vishnu said that he has also complained to the Election Commission about the misinformation being spread in the form of leaflets against YSRCP candidate Velampalli Srinivas of the Central constituency. So, all the people of the State understand Chandrababu’s conspiracies and ask the TDP to come to their senses once again.
The MLA was accompanied by Navaratnalu programme executive vice-chairman Ankamreddy Naga Narayanamurthy, YSRCP legal cell president Manohar Reddy and legal cell member Srinivas Reddy.
