Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Saturday said the Congress government is committed to fulfilling the promises made to the people ahead of the Assembly elections.
The Minister was the chief guest at an election rally for the MLC by-poll from the Graduates’ constituency here. He expressed confidence of the Congress party candidate in the Graduates’ constituency MLC by-poll Speaking on the occasion, he urged the Congress party activists to work for the success of the Congress candidate “The previous BRS government destroyed all the systems in 10 years.”
He said the Congress would work for the development of the state. He said that all the promises made before the elections would be fulfilled. Loan waiver for farmers up to Rs 2 lakh will be implemented. He urged all the graduate voters to support Teenmar Mallanna in the Graduates’ MLC elections and ensure his victory. He said that the previous BRS government had filed many cases against Mallanna. He, however, alleged that the KCR government indulged in corruption. If Teenmaar Mallanna won, the unemployed will get justice, he said. State Youth Congress president Kothakapu Shivasena Reddy and others spoke.
