Modi & KCR played religion, region cards: Mahesh

TPCC President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud said that Prime Minister Modi played politics based on ‘religion’ and ‘castes’ and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on the basis of ‘regions.’
Addressing a gathering at Nizamabad where the local Congress unit felicitated him on Friday, Mahesh said the Congress is the only party wedded to secularism. He said the BRS rulers made Telangana debt-riddled by borrowing loans indiscriminately. KCR is living happily in his farmhouse. However, KTR and Harish Rao are criticising the Congress government by telling white lies.
Mahesh said that he is confident that the Congress will form a government in 2028 by winning 90 to 100 seats. He said that the Congress will win 15 LS seats in Telangana and make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister. He said that he would fill party posts with 60 per cent BCs, STs, SCs and minorities and that an exercise is going on for conducting a caste census as per Rahul’s social engineering ideas.
