YSR Telangana Party leader YS Sharmila wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking an immediate investigation into the massive corruption in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP). The party has also launched a “poster campaign” in Ramagundam, Godavarikhani and in nearby villages to bring the issue to the attention of the Prime Minister. Releasing the poster and her letter to the media on Friday during her padayatra Sharmila said, “On the occasion of the Prime Minister’s visit to Telangana, the YSR Telangana Party has written to him seeking immediate investigation into the biggest irrigation scam in the country, the Kaleshwaram Project scam.
