Modi to visit Telangana amid protests, bandhs

All eyes are on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Telangana on Saturday as the TRS and the Communists are getting ready to hold protests against the Prime Minister.The TRS has already installed flexes across the state saying, ‘No Entry to Modi.’ The Communists have given a Ramagundam bandh call on Saturday and have declared that they will protest against Modi’s visit to Telangana. BJP leaders have made arrangements in a big way to welcome the Prime Minister.

The party has planned to gather thousands of its activists to attend the meeting being held outside Begumpet Airport. The Prime Minister will land at the Begumpet Airport at 1.30 pm on Saturday. The PM would have a meeting with the BJP’s Telangana leaders and will address a public meeting held outside the airport. After that, the Prime Minister will go to Ramagundam by an MI-17 Helicopter at 2.15 pm.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) at 3.30 pm. Later, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stones of many several development projects at 4.15 pm. The PM will also address a public meeting at the Ramagundam NTPC Grounds.The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a statement that the PM will attend the inauguration of RFCL and lay foundation stones for projects costing Rs 9,500 crore including RFCL.
