Monday Mirchi : CM’s ‘inside track’ wows bureaucrats

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy seems to have had an inside track of the administration even while he was in the Opposition before the regime change. Therefore, with his uncanny grip over matters, including those decided in the previous dispensation, he wows babus. He does this by pinpointing documents, orders, or memos, including those about which top level bureaucrats feign ignorance or genuinely cannot easily figure out. A little bird told us that during reviews, at times he mentions about particular orders issued by the previous government and questions about them. The Chief Secretary and secretaries concerned are often taken by surprise, especially if they realize, upon a frantic search, that the CM was indeed right, though even they had been ignorant. The whispers in the corridors of power are about how strong the CM is on facts relating to the inside track of the administration.
