A 25-year-old mother killed two of her children and attempted suicide in Jillelaguda of Meerpet on Sunday.
According to the Meerpet police, N Bharathi (25), wife of Srinivas, got married in the year 2020. The couple had two children, elder is 1.5 year old and younger is eight months old.
On Saturday the woman had quarreled with her mother-in-law and that fight continued between the husband and wife on Sunday when woman’s parents arrived.
When the husband was out on work, wife Bharathi dipped her two children in a water tub in reverse position. She later consumed poison.
She then communicated with her husband on what she did. Then, the husband rushed the kids and wife to a hospital. The kids were brought dead and wife is undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital. The case is registered and under investigation, said ACP, Vanastalipuram.
