MP expresses anger over officials for poor maintenance of drainage

MP Margani Bharat Ram expressed anger over the corporation sanitary staff for the poor maintenance here on Friday.
The MP visited some areas in ward 5 in his ‘Good Morning’ programme on Friday and saw clogging of water in the drainage canal. The MP also noticed overflowing of drainage water on the road at Kambalapet area. He vented his anger over the sanitary staff for the dereliction of duty. He warned them of taking action.
The MP interacted with the traders at the municipal market and knew their problems.  The traders brought to the notice of the MP the water leakage from the ward secretariat.
The traders complained to the MP that their loans had not been sanctioned since one year.  He inquired with the MEPMA officer Ravi Shanker over phone why there was delay in sanctioning of loans to the petty traders. The MP expressed his displeasure over the officer not sanctioning Rs 10,000 loan to the petty traders.  He also spoke to the chief manager of SBI on sanctioning loans to the petty traders.
