MP opens digital computer lab at Stella College

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas alias Nani inaugurated the newly set up digital computer lab with his MPLAD funds of Rs.25 lakh at the St Maris Stella College in the city on Tuesday. Later, he visited the lab and interacted with the students.
Addressing the gathering, MP Kesineni Srinivas said that the missionary institutions are working to provide an opportunity for women and girl students to continue their studies. He lauded the missionary institutions.
“In my childhood days, Maris Stella College, Andhra Loyola College and Nirmala Convent were famous educational institutions with English as the medium of instruction. My mother was the first batch student of Maris Stella College and my sister also studied there,” he said.
Further, he assured the college management that he would continue his support for the development of the Maris Stella College with MPLAD funds every year. Students should continue their education with discipline. Then, they will reach higher positions in future, he added.
Meanwhile, he asked the students to use the computer lab for their overall development.
Maris Stella College Correspondent Dr Leena Quadras, Principal Dr Kulrekha Mudardha and others were present.
