No BRS MLA Harish Rao press meet is complete without a sharp dig at Adityanath Das, Revanth Reddy’s irrigation advisor. Harish has even given him a new title — “Muddula Andhra advisor” — dripping with sarcasm. For newbies, Adityanath Das hails from Bihar and worked in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for long time. The former minister has been repeatedly slamming the Congress government for appointing someone who, according to him, “acted against the interests of Telangana” during the BRS regime and his tenure as Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh. BRS is driving that it’s not the CM, minister or even the secretary who’s running the irrigation show — it’s all Das. And with that much power, say, insiders, comes regular lashing from Harish, who seems to have made Adityanath Das his piñata.
