An ardent fan of film actor Jr.NTR was found dead at Chintaluri village in EG district and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu demanded an inquiry on the suspicious death.
Shyam Manikantha Ram Prasad (20) was an ardent fan of Jr. NTR. He was found dead in his maternal grand-mother’s house at Chintaluru village on Sunday. Shyam Manikantha Ram Prasad shot into limelight when he rushed towards Jr.NTR and hugged him unmindful of heavy security at a movie release function a few days ago.
Jr. NTR also prevented his security personnel when they were dragging him away and he hugged his fan making him happy. The entire incident went viral on social media and Jr. NTR won accolades for his love towards his fans.
However, Manikantha, the ardent fan of Jr. NTR was found dead in his grandmother’s house. Initially, it was said that he committed suicide but later it was said that he was murdered.
Jr. NTR responded to the death of his ardent fan Shyam Manikantha and conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family. In a message on Tuesday, Jr. NTR said that an inquiry should be conducted on his death.
Interestingly, the father of deceased Shyam Manikantha also expressed doubts on the death of his son. “My son did not die by suicide. The situation at the place indicated that some people killed him,” he told the media. The parents of Shyam Manikantha have been working in Tirupati for the last 10 years, he said. The Kothapet DSP KV Ramana said that a case was registered and investigation began.
The suspicious death of Shyam Manikantha took another interesting turn with the release of a selfie video. In the selfie video, the deceased Manikantha was seen asking his mother to forgive him as he did not have interest to do a job and he had become a useless person in the view of all, and that is why, he had taken the extreme step. The selfi video went viral on social media.
Meanwhile, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu responded to the death of Manikantha on twitter. Naidu said “Deeply saddened by the tragic and untimely demise of Shyam in Chintaluru, EG District. The suspicious circumstances surrounding his death are alarming. I strongly urge for a thorough investigation into this matter, ensuring justice is served.
It has been alleged that YSRCP members are involved. Their involvement must be probed impartially. Let’s ensure transparency prevails and justice is served.”
