In a major political development, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has decided to induct K Nagababu, elder brother of Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan, into the State Cabinet.
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) officially announced this decision on Monday. Nagababu, currently the State general secretary of the Jana Sena, will be sworn in as a Cabinet minister soon.
With this induction, the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet will reach its maximum capacity of 25 members. Pawan Kalyan, Kandula Durgesh, and Nadendla Manohar are the other Jana Sena leaders who are already part of the State Cabinet.
Meanwhile, on behalf of the NDA alliance in the State, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu announced that Beeda Mastan Rao and Sana Satish (both from TDP) and R Krishnaiah (representing BJP) will contest for RS elections from AP.
