Former Minister Nagam Janardhan Reddy has charged the BRS leadership with renominating majority of the sitting MLAs so that they would play second fiddle to the corrupt practices of the BRS and win the elections with the money power.
Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Janardhan Reddy accused the BRS of destroying the democracy by not taking action against the MLAs who were accused of receiving Rs 3 lakh bribe from each Dalit Bandhu beneficiary.
The ruling BRS government has been indulging in large scale corruption of the order of thousands of crores of rupees and fuelling the mafia in Telangana, which is unprecedented in the country, he alleged. Therefore, he appealed to the people to wake up from their slumber and drive away corruption from the soil of Telangana and ensure the defeat of the ruling party candidates.
He alleged that there was no transparency in the government schemes implementation. The funds are being released under various schemes without first preparing the estimates leading to perpetration of corruption of the scale of thousands of crores of rupees, he said breathing fire on the ruling BRS.
