YSRCP general secretary and Government Advisor (Public Affairs), Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, has commented that Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu will be of no use to the State anymore. This is clear from the way he talks about things like Vision 2047 recently, he said.
Addressing a press conference on Friday, Sajjala said that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan seems to be blindly following Naidu’s instructions. He also said that Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are working together and aiming their efforts against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He mentioned that Pawan Kalyan had previously said he would team up with anyone to defeat Jagan Mohan Reddy.
According to Sajjala, Naidu suffered a big loss in the 2019 elections due to problems during TDP’s rule. He said that the crime rate had gone up during that time, but now things are better. He accused Naidu and Pawan Kalyan of spreading false information that goes against making Visakhapatnam the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Talking about Yarlagadda Venkata Rao leaving the party, Sajjala said it looks like Yarlagadda had already decided to leave, and his recent speeches show that. Sajjala mentioned that if there are issues within the party, it’s better to discuss and solve them internally instead of talking about them publicly.
Sajjala said that in a democracy, everyone has their own freedom, and those who work hard for the party will be recognised in YSRCP. He added that YSRCP is a strong party, and many people have high hopes for its future, so there’s some pressure.
Sajjala made it clear that nobody is pushing Yarlagadda to leave the party. He believes that opportunities come rarely, so one should make the most of them. He noted that Yarlagadda has held meetings like this a few times before, just as he did today.
