Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Party president K Pawan Kalyan have asserted that a political transformation is underway in Andhra Pradesh, expressing optimism about their coalition’s prospects of assuming power. Addressing a sizable gathering at an election rally here on Thursday, Naidu pledged to establish the Rajampet district and bolster its development initiatives.
He also committed to the completion of the Annamayya project and vowed to ensure justice for the affected. Additionally, Naidu underscored his commitment to finalising the Galeru-Nagari canal project and securing the Krishna water supply. He reaffirmed his pledge to elevate the old age pension to Rs 4000 and sign off on the mega DSC initiative.
“If our coalition secures victory, we will generate 20 lakh job opportunities within five years. Every eligible unemployed individual will receive a Rs 3000 unemployment allowance until they secure employment,” Naidu affirmed.
Expressing conviction that Jagan Mohan Reddy’s administration will be decisively defeated in the upcoming elections, Naidu urged the public to respond to Jagan Reddy’s recent encounter with stones by voting him out of power.
Ensuring the establishment of a medical college in Rajampet post-election, Naidu remarked that a revolt against Jagan Reddy’s governance had already begun in the State.
Meanwhile, addressing the crowd, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan alleged that the collapse of the Annamayya dam was due to sand excavation. He recalled warning the government about the dam’s precarious state but claimed his warnings were ignored.
Subsequently, speaking at an election rally in Railway Kodur, Pawan Kalyan urged the public to challenge the misdeeds of the YSRCP-led government fearlessly. “You are all citizens of Rayalaseema. Why fear Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Gangi Reddy, and others? There’s no need for violence; you can hold them accountable by electing our coalition candidate, former Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy,” Pawan Kalyan asserted.
Committing to establishing a food processing unit and constructing a cold storage facility in the Railway Kodur constituency, Pawan Kalyan emphasized the importance of Chandrababu Naidu’s extensive experience for Andhra Pradesh’s development.
Expressing deep sentiment, Pawan Kalyan stated, “I am willing to sacrifice for the State. There’s no need to fear Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy; we are here to safeguard you.”
Pawan Kalyan pledged that if their coalition assumes power, police personnel will be granted weekly offs, and their travel and daily allowances will be duly provided. Both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan urged voters to elect N. Kiran Kumar Reddy as BJP’s candidate for the Rajampet MP seat and Sridhar as Jana Sena’s MLA candidate.
