Must read

Assuring the Yanadi community regarding comprehensive support for their well-being under the future TDP government, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu questioned on Saturday whether the people of the State need a government that fails to come to the aid of the poor during natural disasters. After the TDP regains power, a dedicated plan will be devised for the betterment of the Yanadi community,” stated Chandrababu after he visited the Yanadi Colony in Bapatla.
Expressing grave concern over the fact that the colony’s residents have been living in water for the past three days, facing numerous challenges, he highlighted the dire conditions of Yanadis in the Bapatla district headquarters.
“One of my associates mentions that all welfare schemes for the colony residents have been halted because they voted for the TDP in the last elections. Are the voters who did not support the ruling party ineligible for welfare schemes?” questioned Chandrababu, addressing Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. Expressing regret that Yanadis continue to lag academically and medically, despite the TDP’s efforts during its tenure, the TDP leader emphasized the need to provide quality education to the community’s children. Chandrababu questioned the allocation of only 25 kg of rice to Yanadi community members, suggesting that they should receive at least 50 kg.
Criticising the State government for its failure to fulfil its promises and adequately assist the poor, he demanded a payment of Rs 20,000 to each Yanadi family affected by the cyclone. Chandrababu Naidu asserted that Yanadis should actively engage in politics to foster leadership qualities, thereby transforming their lifestyle.
