Telugu Desam chief N Chandrababu Naidu has reiterated that TDP is with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the Centre and highlighted that they contested the general elections 2024 with the support of the Jana Sena Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party collectively and registered a massive landslide victory. Naidu was seen sitting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the meeting, as TDP support is key for the NDA to form the government at the Centre.
Naidu was accompanied by JSP chief Pawan Kalyan and others to the NDA meeting on Wednesday evening.
He questioned whether it is possible to contest in alliance, if not part of alliance. After the meeting with the NDA top leaders in Delhi, Naidu said that the meeting was held on a positive note.
Later, after the meeting with the NDA leaders, Chandrababu Naidu took to ‘X’: “Honoring the mandate given by the people of our country. All NDA partners unanimously endorsed Narendra Modi ji as our coalition leader at a meeting held in Delhi today.
Under his able leadership, we shall all strive to ensure that our country continues to prosper and emerge as a global leader.”
On the other hand, sources say that Chandrababu is likely to have a talk with PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss key issues pertaining in the interest of the State of Andhra Pradesh as TDP has assured the people with many promises. As per the TDP manifesto, ‘Super Six’ has many promises to the women, farmers and the people of AP and to fulfil those, the TDP alliance needs a big share of help from the BJP at the Centre. Naidu is likely to discuss many other issues like the Polavaram project, Special Category Status, Railway Zone, Kadapa steel factory and many other promises incorporated in the AP Reorganisation Act.
