NAIDU’s REMARKS ON SECTT WOMEN COPS : Complaint lodged with APWC

The Secretariat Mahila Police Welfare Association here on Thursday complained to Andhra Pradesh Women’s Commission (Chairperson Vasireddy Padma on the objectionable comments made by Leader of the Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu.

Association president S Mahalakshmi, general secretary D Madhulatha, Guntur district president MVN Durga, Gousya Begam and Mangalagiri Geeta were among those who submitted a memorandum to the APWC Chairperson.

Vasireddy Padma said that former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s comments against women policemen working in village and ward secretariats on women’s safety, resolution of family disputes, and social issues are damaging their empowerment. Vasireddy Padma assured them of taking action against the objectionable comments.
