In a scathing attack on Saturday, V Vijayasai Reddy, Member of Rajya Sabha and national general secretary of YSRCP, slammed TDP leader Lokesh for disparaging the ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme.
The ‘Amma Vodi’ initiative, a flagship programme of the ruling YSRCP, has been successfully implemented across the state, benefiting numerous families.
MP Vijayasai Reddy questioned Lokesh’s commitment to children’s education and accused him of promoting a sense of servitude among schoolchildren through the ‘Yuvagalam’ initiative.
Reddy expressed his strong disapproval of Lokesh’s actions during the padayatra, where government schoolchildren were allegedly made to touch Lokesh’s feet.
“Is this the responsibility Lokesh holds for our children’s education? It is inhumane to force small schoolchildren to touch someone’s feet,” remarked MP Vijayasai Reddy, highlighting the ethical concerns surrounding Lokesh’s actions.
