TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh, along with TDP MPs Ram Mohan Naidu, Kanakamedala Raveendra Kumar, Galla Jayadev, and Kesineni Srinivas, on Tuesday met President of India Droupadi Murmu, to take the situation in Andhra Pradesh to her notice.

After the meeting with the President, Lokesh spoke to the media and said the President responded positively to their appeal. He informed the President about the illegal arrest of Chandrababu Naidu and explained that Naidu had been unjustly detained despite not making any mistakes in the skill development project.

Nara Lokesh said that in his representation to the President, he wrote that Chandrababu is a globally recognised, honest, and visionary leader who has dedicated 45 years of his life to the tireless development of Andhra Pradesh and the nation. Naidu’s transformation of former Andhra Pradesh into an IT hub, particularly the establishment of Cyberabad, represents a pivotal moment in our country’s IT revolution history. Lokesh stated that Naidu’s illegal arrest is the culmination of vindictive politics and the misuse of power observed right from the time YSRCP came to power.

Lokesh revealed that the government added his name as Accused 14 in the Inner Ring Road case as soon as he announced the resumption of his padayatra. The TDP leader stated that he will give a ‘return gift’ to Jagan and his party leaders after the elections scheduled to be held in 6 months.

Lokesh further revealed that he has no connection with the Skill Development case, Inner Ring Road case, and AP Fibre Grid case, and there is no truth behind these allegations. Furthermore, he explained that the Jagan government is filing false cases only to hinder them from enlightening the people. He firmly stated that justice can be delayed, but it cannot be denied.
