Nation’s top industrialists get invite

In the context of the prestigious Global Investors Summit, which is scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam on March 3 and 4, Minister for Industries Gudivada Amarnath, along with Srijana Gummalla, Director of Industries, met top industrialists in the country as per the directions of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is completely geared up for its prestigious Global Investors Summit and is leaving no stone unturned to make this a grand success and position the state of Andhra Pradesh as the go-to destination for Investment.

Within a week’s time of its diplomatic outreach and curtain raiser event in Delhi that was led by the Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, a state delegation was in Mumbai on Wednesday to meet and invite the stalwarts of the industry to the international summit.

The delegation, led by the Industries Minister, met Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, discussed potential business opportunities in the state of Andhra Pradesh, and extended the invitation to the Global Investors Summit. They also met Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani, the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Ltd, and extended the invitation. They also met Natarajan Chandrasekharan, the Chairman of the Board of TATA Sons, at the Global Investors summit on behalf of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The Global Investors Summit takes prominence as the state is gearing up to position itself as the most favourable destination among both international and domestic business communities.

The Minister explained how the state has been consistently ranked No.1 for the past three years in terms of Ease of Doing Business based on perception surveys and also impressed upon the conducive business environment the state has for industries to flourish.

The minister invited them to come and experience the state of Andhra Pradesh, where abundance meets prosperity. The state also has planned many road shows in different cities such as Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad in the coming days to evangelize the Global Investors Summit.
