The NDA is represented by BJP’s Rajya Sabha member Arun Singh, TDP MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, JSP PAC Chairman Nadendla Manohar, Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao of BJP, and Om Pathak of the BJP national executive filed an official complaint against senior police officials for their purported lack of neutrality and unfair disposition in Andhra Pradesh elections.
The letter openly calls out KS Jawahar Reddy, Chief Secretary, KV Rajendranath Reddy, DGP, Dr Kolli Raghuram Reddy, and five other officers, for their ‘grave misconduct’ towards the people and especially, Opposition leaders. The alliance demanded immediate action against violations of ECI’s instructions, and schemes in favour of the YSRCP government.
“The Election Commission officers themselves agreed on having received many such complaints from Andhra Pradesh alone. This paints a clear picture of influence and power invested in this election by the YCP to tilt the results in their favour,” said Ravindra Kumar, while speaking to the press, post their meeting with the Chief Election Commissioner.
