Highlighting the need to encouraging small and medium farmers, the Telangana government is granting subsidies for automated farming techniques. Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao inaugurated the 3rd edition of the KISAN Agri Show 2025 alongside Niranjan Deshpande, Convenor of KISAN Forum Pvt. Ltd., at the Hitex Exhibition Centre.
Addressing the inaugural, Minister Nageswara Rao emphasised the need to promote automated farming techniques as technology advances in every sector. He appreciated KISAN Hyderabad as an innovative platform that successfully connects various stakeholders in agriculture. The event not only showcased new technologies but also encouraged important discussions for the sector’s sustainable growth.
KISAN Hyderabad 2025 features exhibitors from different agricultural sectors, displaying farm machinery, tractors, irrigation solutions, plasticulture, smart farming tools, IoT-based technologies, agri-startups, contract farming solutions, organic inputs, and mobile apps for farming. It also includes custom clearance services for agricultural trade.
The Commission for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare attended the event. Saguna Bagh, Maharashtra, impressed visitors with its transformation of barren land into fertile farmland.
The exhibition focused on: New agricultural technologies like drones and IoT. Organic and natural farming methods, including zero-budget farming. Direct market linkages for farmers. Awareness of farm loans and government schemes (Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima, Crop Insurance). Climate-adaptive farming for better yields with less water.

Meanwhile, Convenor of KISAN Forum Pvt. Ltd., Niranjan Deshpande expressed excitement over the huge response. He highlighted that the event is more than just an exhibition, it drives knowledge-sharing and collaboration among the farming community.
