The BRS got another shock with its Patancheru leader Neelam Madhu Mudiraj quitting the party. He said that he is resigning from the BRS as he did not get the party ticket. The resignation letter was sent to Chief Minister KCR. On Monday morning, Madhu announced his resignation in the Kothapalli village of Gummadidala mandal in Sangareddy district.
Neelam Madhu took the decision after sitting MLA Goodem Mahipal Reddy got the BRS B-Form on Sunday.
Madhu joined the TRS in 2001. In 2014, he contested to the ZPTC on behalf of the TRS in the ZPTC and MPTC elections and lost. In 2019, he was unanimously elected as the Sarpanch in the Chitkur Gram Panchayat elections.
