Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar said that no ration cards are being issued at present. He said an announcement will be made on behalf of the government if any and made it clear that the information on social media and elsewhere about the process of issuing new ration cards in Telangana is false.
“A press release was issued on Thursday government said reports saying that the process of issuing new ration cards has started on various social media and other campaigns in the last few days are not true. No one should believe those false campaigns,” he said.
He warned that no one should publicise these reports as they confuse people.
