The BJP, which has been claiming that it is the alternative to the ruling BRS, failed to get a room in the Assembly and an invitation for the Business Advisory Committee meeting even during the last session of the current Assembly.

Speaking to the media along with Dubbak MLA M. Raghunandan Rao after the adjournment of the House on the first day of the monsoon session which is the last session during the second term of the BRS, BJP MLA Eatala Rajender said that the BRS’ government insulted the Assembly and not BJP MLAs by not allotting them a room and by not inviting them for the BAC meeting.

He said that the KCR government has no idea that Telugu integrationists have been honouring the Assembly’s traditions and recalled that United AP governments used to allocate rooms for the MLAs of all political parties on the Assembly’s premises.

However, the KCR government has not allotted even a single room to the BJP, which has three MLAs, Eatala said. He said that this attitude of KCR is an example of his vengeful politics.

“I called the Speaker on Thursday morning regarding this, but he did not respond properly.
