The Telangana Assembly’s monsoon session would meet for three days till Sunday (August 6). This is the last Assembly session during the second term of the BRS government.
The Business Advisory Committee’s meeting was held by Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.
Deputy Speaker Padmarao Goud, Ministers Vemula Prashanth Reddy, T. Harish Rao, S. Niranjan Reddy, Gangula Kamalakar, Government Chief Whip Vinay Bhasker, AIMIM Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi and CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka attended the meeting.
The government decided to run the House for three days and if needed for one more day.
However, CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka demanded that the government should run the House for 20 days as there were many issues that needed discussion. He said that the Telangana government is convening the Assembly only for very few days. It is painful that the Speaker who is expected to protect the rights of Members and traditions of the Legislative Assembly insulted us,” Eatala said
