Nodal officers directed to be prepared for elections

West Godavari District Collector P Prashanthi has directed the officials to be prepared to conduct elections.
The Collector held a meeting with 22 nodal officers and reviewed the preparedness to conduct elections in the district. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the officers should perform their duties with vigilance so that no mistakes can be made in election duties. It should always be remembered that there is no room for error in election duties and actions must be taken.
Collector Prashanthi said that the doubts and problems in the performance of duty should be brought to the attention of the superiors from time to time and resolved. She cautioned the nodal officers that the tendency to wait till the end would lead to action in elections.
The Collector told nodal officer KCH Appa Rao that the sweep activity is very important in the elections and it should be conducted efficiently.
The Collector explained to the nodal officers the efficient management of Law and Order, Man Power, EVM, Transport, Training, Material Management, Formation of MCC, MMC Teams, Election Expenditure Monitoring, Ballot Paper, Dummy Ballot, Postal Ballot Management, Media Communication, Help Line and Complaints, Communication Plan, Polling personnel, PWD Voters, Webcasting, Observers, Financial Management, E-Roll and Grievances, Reports and Circulars during the elections.
Joint Collector S Ram Sundar Reddy and nodal officers including  B. Sreemannarayana Reddy, KCH Appa Rao, R Venkataramana, Subramaniam, Umamaheswara Rao, K CH Rajeswara Rao, Srinivasa Rao, T Nageswara Rao, Z Venkateswara Rao, T. Shivarama Prasad, N. Saroja, Lokeswara Rao, YCH Appa Rao, Election Tehsildar Y Durga Kishore and DT M Sanyasi Rao were among those who were present.
