Nothing wrong in Eatala meeting BJP brass: Sanjay

Must read

The BJP’s Telangana unit President, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, challenged Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to publish a white paper listing the development projects executed by his government department-wise in the last nine years.

He said there was nothing wrong in BJP MLA Eatala Rajender meeting the BJP’s top leaders. “This may be new for BRS leaders who have no access to KCR,” he said.

Speaking to reporters at the ‘Khelo Bharat–Jeeto Bhagyanagar’ sports meet at Nizam College Grounds in Hyderabad on Wednesday, Sanjay said the Chief Minister was spending public money liberally on blowing his own trumpet at a time when the poor were struggling for survival.

“The KCR government has been imposing restrictions to suppress the media which is exposing his failures. The time is not far off when the people of Telangana will ban the BRS,” the BJP leader said.

He said that KCR had stooped so low that he is bribing journalists with money and requesting them not to write stories regarding the growth of the BJP in the state.

“The Chief Minister is least bothered about farmers who had suffered heavy crop loss due to unseasonal rains, the unemployed and the homeless poor. Instead, he pays money to the farmers of Punjab, gives job to a Maharashtrian with a high salary and makes a retired IAS officer who was shunted to Andhra Pradesh by the court as his chief advisor,” Sanjay said.

He said while the BJP was promoting sports with programmes like Khelo India, Jeetho Bhagyanagar, KCR was flooding Telangana with liquor as per his slogan, ‘Peelo Telangana, Pilao Telangana’ by reducing liquor prices.

“If KCR comes to power again it will be no surprise if liquor is delivered at doorsteps like Swiggy and Zomato,” he said.

Stating that KCR had failed to fulfil his pre-election promises and had burdened the public with huge debts, Sanjay said that if the BJP is voted to power, it would focus on constructing houses for the poor, providing them free corporate quality healthcare, compensating farmers who suffered crop losses and continue the fee reimbursement scheme.

He called upon the people of Telangana, especially the youth, to get rid of KCR and bring the BJP to power.

Answering a question, Sanjay said the Karnataka election results had absolutely no impact on Telangana.

“People vote in state elections depending on local conditions. The Congress has no chance in Telangana and the BJP is going to be the winner,” he said.
