Officials directed to provide facilities to pilgrims at beaches

District Collector P Ranjit Basha has directed the officials to take all steps to provide facilities to the pilgrims at Suryalanka, Chirala Vodarevu, and Ramapuram beaches because of the holy month Karthika Masam.
The Collector held a meeting with the police, revenue, and panchayat officials on Friday and reviewed the arrangements being made at the beaches for pilgrims.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector instructed the officials to provide necessary facilities to the devotees who come for holy baths at Bapatla Suryalanka, Chirala, and Ramapuram beaches without any difficulty.
The police officers were advised to make strong security as lakhs of devotees are expected to come on Monday and the full moon days during the ‘Karthika Masam’.
The Collector directed the municipal and panchayat officials to undertake sanitation at the sea in the background of the month of ‘Karthika Masam’. The officials of the Rural Water Supply Department were directed to provide necessary facilities for the devotees to take baths.
Bapatla MLA Kona Raghupathi, SP Vakul Jindal, DPO Dasari Rambabu, and agriculture JD Abdul Sattar were among those who were present.
