District Collector G Ravi Nayak on Monday directed the officials to examine thoroughly the petitions received at the Prajavani programme and dispose of them speedily.
As part of the Prajavani programme, being held on every Monday, the Collector received petitions from people. He interacted with the people who came to the Collectorate to submit petitions.
Later, Ravin Nayak held a video conference with Tahsildars to review the status of petitions received so far. He asked the officials to find solutions to the problems being faced by the people without any delay.
The Collector stressed the need to resolve the petitions received at the Prajavani programme quickly. It would help the petitioners. He directed the officials to submit a report on the status of petitions and how many petitions were resolved.
Ravi Nayak instructed the Tahsildars to resolve the petitions on the spot to the extent possible. The district-level officials should take the initiative to resolve the problems presented by the petitioners.
Additional Collectors Venkatesh Dotre and S Mohan Rao, Revenue Divisional Officer Yadaiah, District Panchayat Officer Venkateswarlu and district-level officials were present.
