One person died and three students were injured when a speeding lorry hit a two-wheeler and later a school bus.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Satyanarayana (60). He died on the spot when the lorry hit his bike.
The bus driver and the students, who were injured in the incident, were shifted to the Government Hospital.
The accident happened near the Government Hospital. The speeding lorry hit the bus when it was taking a turn after coming onto the main street from a lane beside the Government Hospital.
The lorry which was on its way from Hyderabad to Raichur hit the two-wheeler first and then the school bus, the police said.
Police seized the lorry and arrested the driver.
