He opines about skincare myths, tips, and different trending cosmetic treatments, exclusively with us!
“The biggest myth and most underrated skin care hack to aging like a fine wine would be — to look after your skin in your younger days before. From my experience, the best way to take care of skin is to use daily SPF 50+ protection followed by quality skincare containing active ingredients, such as vitamin C being a must. Especially for skins who are prone to uneven tone and pigmentation,” says the famous dermatologist who has fourteen clinics across Australia. This is what makes him unique and separates him from his competitors!
Further adding on to his journey to become a skin expert, he says, “My journey began from Jaipur, in early 2013 as a general practitioner in new south wales. In 2016, I moved to the gold coast, and became a general practitioner. I developed an interest and completed specialisation in skin cancer diagnosis and removal there! My previous experiences and extensive training in the treatment of skin cancer generated a natural curiosity in for specialty of aesthetic and cosmetic medicine. I have developed my skills by attending a lot of international conferences. It was in 2017, I officially started my career in aesthetic medicine.”
Speaking about how different skincare is needed in different seasons and regions he says, “For example, in Jaipur — it has a semi-arid climate with extremely hot summers, cold winters, and a short monsoon season. While Queensland is very warm with fewer truly warm and muggy months. I always customize treatments and products to suit each individual’s skin and needs specifically for changes of season.”
Talking about his views on buccal fat removal, botox, and other trending cosmetic treatments, he elucidates, “Buccal fat removal can be beneficial for those suffering from extra fat pads to create a more defined facial structure, while clients who come in for botox and other cosmetic treatments do it to boost their self-esteem, and look and feel better about themselves. Every individual is naturally beautiful, and if by all means, I can be there to assist in helping them achieve a more desirable look then I’ll be more than happy to take that journey with them.
So, maintain your skin with monthly facials, yearly laser treatments, use your sun protection on a daily basis, and the right skincare that is prescribed for your skin concerns by an experienced dermal skin therapist. It is never too late to get started, however, it is much harder to revise the signs of aging once they start to appear! The earlier you start to look after your skin, the better and more gracefully you will age.”
Sharing his passion for dermatology he says, “In my practices, all treatments are popular and important. I do not preferentiate one over the other. Although my passion lies in non-surgical rhinoplasty! My motto is that no treatment or product fits all, which is how I became successful. To survive in this industry, you have to be honest with a client, an excellent listener, and passionate in what you do.”
