Over 500 employees receive I-Day meritorious awards

NTR District Collector Dr S Dilli Rao distributed meritorious certificates to the employees for their best performance while delivering their duties. The District Collector, along with Joint Collector Dr P Sampath Kumar and Sub Collector Adithi Singh, handed over the certificates of appreciation to around 500 employees belonging to all the departments of the district at the event held at the AR Ground in Vijayawada on Tuesday.

Sub Collector Adithi Singh, Nandigama RDO A Ravindra Rao, DWMA PD J Suneetha, ICDS PD G Umadevi, DRDA PD Srinivasa Rao, DSO G Mohan Babu, DEO CV Renuka, DTC Purendra, NTR District DPRO SV Mohan Rao, Publicity Assistant Vemuri V Prasad, Arogya Sri Coordinator J Suman, APSACS office Dr Usha, Housing PD M Rajini Kumari, and other district level officers received the meritorious certificates from the Collector.

Before that, the District Collector unfurled the national flag to mark the 77th Independence Day. He asked the employees to strive hard towards developing the district in all aspects by taking inspiration from the freedom fighters. Later, the Collector extended his greetings to the public, officers and employees.

DRO K Mohan Kumar, DCP M Satti Babu and others were present.

Patti Isaq, NTR District Sports Authority (DSA) Boxing Coach, who produced several national and international boxers, received the 77th Independence Day Sports Meritorious award from District Collector Dr S Dilli Rao. He successfully organised the CM Cup (Boxing) at Tirupati and for that, the district administration selected Isaq for the meritorious award.

At a programme held at the Armed Reserve Police Parade Grounds in Vijayawada, the NTR district collector presented an award including the certificate. He praised the dedicated work of boxing coach Isaq and suggested that more boxers should come from the district.

In this connection, NTR District Sports Authority CEO U Srinivasa Rao, Chief Coach SA Azeez and others congratulated Isaq.
