Gudem Vishnuvardhan Reddy (34), son of Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy, passed away on Thursday. He died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad, according to family members.
Vishnuvardhan Reddy was an active member of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) from his student days. He was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad on July 23. He was survived by his wife Dr Kiranmai, a son and a daughter.
A pall of gloom descended on Patancheru. Minister for Finance T Harish Rao expressed his condolence.
