Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan filed a complaint with Tirupati district Superintendent of Police, Parameswar Reddy, against Srikalahasti Circle Inspector Anju Yadav.

This action was taken after Anju Yadav allegedly slapped a JSP leader during a peaceful protest. Pawan Kalyan, accompanied by JSP political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar and other party leaders, met the SP in his office and submitted the complaint against CI Anju Yadav.

Speaking to the media afterward, Pawan Kalyan said that every citizen has the right to peacefully express their protest, which is a fundamental right guaranteed by the Constitution. He expressed his disappointment that instead of protecting the people, the police were resorting to intimidation and violence by attacking and beating them.

It should be noted that CI Anju Yadav had allegedly slapped JSP leader Kotte Sai in full public view while they were peacefully registering their protest. Pawan Kalyan called for a thorough investigation into the incident and demanded that strong disciplinary action be taken against the responsible police officer.

A JSP leader mentioned that SP Parameswar Reddy said that a charge memo had already been issued to CI Anju Yadav, and he assured them that appropriate departmental action would be taken against her.
Earlier, a large bike rally was organised by JSP activists to welcome Pawan Kalyan, which started from Renigunta airport and ended in Tirupati.
