Former minister and MLA Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani) has alleged that in the name of Varahi Yatra, JSP chief Pawan Kalyan is provoking people, throwing mud at Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to ensure that TDP chief Chandrababu benefits politically.
Perni said that people are laughing at Pawan Kalyan’s speeches without proper knowledge and said that when Chandrababu Naidu was the CM of AP in 2000, the Jai Telangana movement was started for the first time, in 2001 KCR floated TRS and what is the connection when Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy was the CM in 2004.
Speaking to the media persons on Monday, Perni said that people are laughing at Pawan for his ignorance of State politics and saying that the bifurcation of AP was done because of Dr YSR. The MLA recalled that in 1962-63 also there was Telangana moment and PK does not have basic knowledge on state politics.
Perni criticised PK for capturing photos with cows, bulls, mango stees, and carrying books upside-down, instead of improving knowledge. He recalled what KCR had told about PK and why shootings were stalled and the release of movies was stopped.
He said that PK was a worker employed under Chandrababu on wages and was discharging his duties as per the package negotiated. He said that intentionally PK was spreading false and baseless allegations against the state government and the leaders of the ruling party.
Perni asked PK to come out openly and accept before the public that he was working for Chandrababu.
He pointed out that PK has still no clarity as a politician, at times he says that he wishes to become the CM and later he contradicts his own statement.
Perni said that at least now the JSP chief should give clarity to the public that JSP-BJP and TDP will go to polls in the 2024 elections.
Perni criticized that Tenali and Tanuku’s candidates were announced, why he did not announce for other constituencies as he can not field more than 25 to 30 candidates.
The former minister challenged Pawan Kalyan to come out openly and tell the people what good they have done to the people during the 2014-19 rule and go to the people. With cinema glamour, PK was deceiving the people to benefit Chandrababu Naidu.
He asked Pawan Kalyan if he has the guts to ask PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to stop VSP privatisation, special category status to AP, and other bifurcation promises from the union government.
