Planning Board Vice Chairman Malladi Vishnu has said that the credit of giving 31 lakh house pattas to poor families across the State and creating property worth 4 lakh crore goes only to the YSRCP government. But Chandrababu, who served as Chief Minister for 14 years, did not give a cent of land to the poor, said Vishnu. He recalled that the TDP announced in the VMC council that they could not build 10,000 houses and accepted their inefficiency.

But after YS Jagan Mohan Reddy became the Chief Minister, for house pattas in 71,811.49 acres in the State, Rs 56,103 crore has been spent. It has been revealed that villages are being built in 17,000 Jagananna colonies with all the facilities like roads, drinking water, drainage and electricity. About 30,000 poor families in the Central constituency were given house pattas by spending Rs 320 crore to purchase land.

Vishnu said that unable to bear the welfare schemes and development activities in the State, the Opposition parties are splashing mud at the government programmes. Vishnu asked what happened to Pawan Kalyan during the five years of Telugu Desam Party rule when many poor families were in trouble. He asked why the Jana Sena chief could not question the Chandrababu government’s corruption and dishonesty of Janmabhoomi committees in TIDCO houses.
