Minister for Industries Gudivada Amarnath has alleged that Jana Sena party (JSP) chief K Pawan Kalyan is implementing the agenda of the Telugu Desam party.
Talking to the media at the media point in the secretariat here on Wednesday, he said that the JSP had no ideology. “Pawan Kalyan says that he does not belong to any caste, but at the same time, he had spoken about caste and tried to muster the support of Kapu communities by stoking them. He devoted most of the time to speak on caste in the Machilipatnam public meeting.
“Pawan Kalyan is reading the script given by the TDP. He is wooing the Kapu voters to support the TDP. Pawan Kalyan proved himself in yesterday’s meeting that he is being backed by Chandrababu Naidu. Pawan Kalyan indirectly admitted that he is Naidu’s man. He is determined to defeat Jagan Mohan Reddy and make Chandrababu Naidu the Chief Minister of the State,” the Minister alleged.
Amarnath asked Pawan Kalyan why hesitated to criticise Chandrababu Naidu. If Pawan Kalyan wants to come to the Assembly, passes would be issued and he need not wait till elections, he ridiculed, referring to the comments of Pawan Kalyan that he would enter the Assembly.
The Minister dared Pawan Kalyan to contest from all the 175 constituencies in the next election. “Pawan Kalyan wants to sell himself to the TDP at the same time he wants all his supporters and cadre to be part of it,” he criticised.
The Minister also dared Pawan Kalyan to contest in the Telangana elections. “Pawan Kalyan has given clarity that the JDP’s aim is to make Chandrababu Naidu the Chief Minister of the State. The JSP cadre should understand this,” he slammed.
The minister said that Andhra Jyothi telecast a news item stating that Pawan Kalyan entered into a Rs 1,000 crore deal in Telangana. But Pawan Kalyan did not vent his anger on Andhra Jyothi MD Radha Krishna, he pointed out. Amarnath predicted that the YSRCP would win all the 175 Assembly seats in the next election.
