YSRCP MLA and former minister Perni Venkatramaiah slammed Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan for trying to divide people on the basis of castes and stoking caste emotions among the Kapu community people.
Talking to the media at the media point in the secretariat here on Wednesday, he alleged that Pawan Kalyan was trying to incite the Kapu community people to earn political mileage and described it as a cruel act in politics.
Perni Venkatramaiah dared Pawan Kalyan to remove his veil and announce that Jana Sena would be aligned to the Telugu Desam party. The TDP and JSP alliance would be taught a lesson by the people in the next elections and it would meet a debacle, he predicted.
Instead of slamming the person, who disseminated a news item stating that Pawan Kalyan entered a Rs 1,000-crore deal, Pawan Kalyan criticised the YSRCP leaders, Perni flayed.
The former minister recalled that Pawan Kalyan, previously, alleged that Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh were indulged in corruption, but he wanted to align with the TDP now.
“Pawan Kalyan has indirectly announced that he would go with Chandrababu Naidu and asked his cadres and Kapu community people to support him,” Perni Venkatramaiah said.
