Pawan Kalyan prioritises films amid political commitments

Must read

Finally, Pawan Kalyan has decided to allot dates for his long-pending films and complete them. The producer of Hari Hara Veera Mallu had been waiting for years — the film began nearly five years ago and is now finally completed. Despite the delay, the producer did not raise any complaints, understanding that Pawan might be caught up with political responsibilities. Moreover, the film is a historical drama set in the Mughal and Qutb Shahi eras, which required the actor to maintain a specific look.

Now, the Deputy Chief Minister has taken a break from his political commitments and completed the film. Initially directed by Krish, who shot a significant portion of it, the delay led him to exit the project and move on to another film with Anusha. The direction was then taken over by Jyothi Krishna, son of Rathnam, who completed the film. The second film, OG, produced by DVV Danayya and directed by Sujeeth, also faced delays. Though Pawan had allotted some dates earlier, scheduling issues pushed the shoot further. Now, he has committed to finishing the film. The shoot resumed on Monday and will continue until Pawan wraps his portions, according to sources. Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi plays the antagonist.

Both films are expected to be released soon, making this summer a treat for Pawan Kalyan fans. Hari Hara Veera Mallu is set to hit the screens first, followed by OG. There is also Ustaad Bhagat Singh in the pipeline, directed by Harish Shankar with Sreeleela as the female lead, but it remains to be seen how Pawan will schedule time for this, as it requires a lengthy shoot.
