Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief K Pawan Kalyan has declared Tangella Uday Srinivas as the party’s candidate to contest the Lok Sabha seat from the Kakinada Parliamentary constituency. Speaking at the State office in Mangalagiri on Tuesday, Pawan Kalyan rallied party leaders and activists, urging them to rally for a resounding victory in Pithapuram, where he is contesting.
“Indeed, the BJP leadership proposed that I contest for both Lok Sabha and Assembly. However, I expressed my preference to enter the Assembly first, prioritizing service to the state. Hence, I have nominated Uday Srinivas for the Kakinada MP seat,” Pawan Kalyan affirmed.
Pawan Kalyan vowed to transform the Pithapuram constituency into a model area, promising to enhance employment opportunities and bolster medical and educational facilities, should he be elected.
“I will exemplify how an MLA can uplift a constituency. JSP candidates must secure victory with overwhelming support in the 21 Assembly constituencies and two Lok Sabha constituencies,” he said to the cadres.
