People have lost faith in Congress government: KTR

Must read

Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao expressed the view that the people had lost faith in the Congress government given its performance during the last three months. The government, he said, had failed to ensure uninterrupted power supply. It failed to avert the water crisis and pay input subsidy to the farmers under the Rythu Bandhu scheme.
He was speaking at the party workers’ meeting at Mustabd in the district.
The Congress promised pensions and loan waiver among others, but failed to fulfil them. On the free RTC travel facility, Rama Rao said that women were struggling to get into the buses because a sufficient number of buses were not deployed.
He exhorted the party cadre to ensure that the Congress is taught a befitting lesson in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He felt that the BRS had lost the Assembly elections by committing small mistakes. He appealed to the party workers to ensure the victory of B Vinod Kumar.
When the BRS government brought the Layout Regularisation Scheme during its regime, Congress leaders including A Revanth Reddy and N Uttam Kumar Reddy demanded that the government carry out the exercise free of cost.

However, the State government is now asking to pay fees for regularisation of lands under the LRS, he said.
